Challenge: Elegante, a medium-sized bedclothes manufacturing company in Bielefeld, meets the 21st century: retail – the primary sales channel to date – is shrinking, as the digital transformation is making itself felt here as well. So how does the old business model need to be changed so that high-quality bedclothes made in Germany can become the sales leader with an increasingly digital target group?
Our solution: In addition to a new look, we also created an Instagram account and a modern website. We used the story of the brand itself as the starting point for the Instagram channel, which enabled us to show people what all goes into elegante products: experienced handiwork, a love of details and genuine and friendly people. The online shop was our second step, which, in addition to classic retail, represents a second pillar for the business model, thus making elegante fit for the coming years.
